Jo Newsholme
PRODUCER, WRITER & EDITOR
Jo is an award-winning audio and video producer with over 15 years of experience creating compelling content for radio, podcast, and digital platforms. She has worked extensively with BBC Bitesize, BBC Radio 5 Live, and Global Radio, with a particular focus on casting and producing authentic, youth-led content.
For the past five years, Jo has been a regular collaborator on BBC Bitesize Careers, Parents’ Toolkit and campaigns such as Supermovers for Every Body, developing a strong understanding of the platform’s mission and its diverse audiences. Her background includes producing high-profile shows for LBC and founding Porcelina Productions, where she continues to craft innovative and inclusive audio stories.
Recent highlights include My Life (ARIAS Silver, 2023), Beast of Man with Kevin Pietersen, and BBC Education’s In This Place. Whether working in radio, podcasting, or video, Jo brings warmth, clarity, and a commitment to engaging storytelling.

Joanna Tonge
PRODUCER
Joanna is producer with over two decades of experience in TV production. Joanna began her career as a runner on a corporate video shoot, quickly advancing to a production assistant role at Equinox TV in Salford. She later became a senior producer at Chief Productions in Manchester, working on TV commercials, music videos and documentaries.
Joanna teamed up with Jo to secure funding from The Audio Content Fund to produce "My Life," a 10-part radio series for FunKids that offers a heartfelt and humorous glimpse into the lives of children across the UK. The show was well-received, winning a Silver award for 'Best Music Entertainment Show' at the ARIAS 2023.
In more recent years Joanna has produced audio, visual and immersive projects for heritage sites and visitor attractions around the UK.
Joanna’s favourite part of the production process is planning, budgeting and scheduling so you can guarantee the project will be delivered on time and within budget.

Carys Kaiser
CAMERA OPERATOR AND SHOOTING PD
Carys is an experienced filmmaker and drone pilot based in Manchester, with a career spanning over two decades in television, branded content, and digital production. As a skilled camera operator and self-shooting producer-director, she brings a creative and agile approach to storytelling across a wide range of genres—from documentaries and factual series to corporate films and social media content. Creating content for BBC Teach, BBC Learning, BBC Live Lessons - including Anti bullying week, World Book day, Eurovision content, Safer Internet Day and Winterwatch cross over 2023/2024.
She was lead film maker for BBC Body Positive aimed at a 16 to 19-year-old audience, which went on to be nominated for awards and won a Bronze Lovie Award for Best Use of Film for Social Media. Most recently Carys has been working with young influencers and sports personalities to create short form and slightly longer form content for The Lionesses (The FA YouTube Channel) and Fabulous Magazine, both aimed at young teen and older teenage audiences 14 to 19) . Carys is passionate and skilled at creation of short-form content.
Her extensive credits include work for BBC Sport, Channel 4 and Channel 5, contributing to a diverse portfolio that ranges from factual documentaries to reality television. She has worked with children and young people aged 3 to 18 years, directing drama pieces for over 20 years.
